Bridge Object Bent Definition Form

Access the Bridge Object Bent Definition form, with the Bridge Modeler license enabled, as follows:

Click the Bridge menu > Bridge Objects command, or on the Bridge Wizard select the Bridge Object Definition item and click the Define/Show Bridge Objects button, to display the Define Bridge Objects form. At least a layout line and a bridge deck section must be defined for this command to be available.
Click the Add New Bridge Object button, or highlight a previously defined bridge object in the Bridge Objects area of the form and click the Add Copy of Bridge Object or Modify/Show Bridge Object button, to display the Bridge Object Data form.
Click the Modify/Show Bents button to display the Bridge Object Bent Definition form. If this button is not available, add a bent to the bridge span as follows:

Select Span to Bent from the Bridge Object Span Type drop-down list.
Specify the location of the bent.
Click the Insert Above or Insert Below button.

Use the Bridge Object Bent Definition form to review, and if necessary modify, the bent property, bearing, and if applicable, the horizontal and vertical offsets or the meshing of the deck at the bent.

Bridge Object Name display box. This name identifies the bridge object to which the bent applies.
Units drop-down list. Use the displayed units or select new units from the drop-down list for use on this form.
Bent Definition:

Bent. The names in this column identify the bents associated with the bridge object.
Property drop-down list. The names in this drop-down list identify bent property definitions previously defined for the bridge bent.
Bearing edit box. Use this column to specify the bearing of the bent.
Horiz. Offset and Vert Offset edit boxes. As necessary, enter values to specify horizontal or vertical offsets for the bent. The offsets are specified in the current model units relative to the layout line. The offsets are offset from the bent reference point of the bridge layout line.
Mesh Deck at Bent edit box. When Yes displays, the deck is meshed at the bent. When No displays, the deck is not meshed at the bent. Click in the cell to change the meshing at the bent.
