Bridge Column Support Data Form

Access the Bridge Column Support Data form, with the Bridge Modeler enabled, as follows:

Click the Bridge menu > Bridge Column Supports command, or on the Bridge Wizard form select the Bent Definitions item and click the Define/Show User Supports button, to display the Define Bridge Foundation Springs form.
Click the Add New Foundation Spring, or highlight a previously defined column support and click the Add Copy of Foundation Spring or the Modify/Show Foundation Spring button.

Use the Bridge Column Support Data form to define bridge column supports.

Bridge Column Support Name edit box. Use the default or enter a new name for the bridge column support definition.
Units drop-down list. Use the displayed units or select new units from the drop-down list for use on this form.
Bridge Column Support is Defined By area. Specify how the bridge column support is to be defined.

Link/Support Property option. Use this option to define the bridge column supports using a link/support property definition. When this option is selected, select the link/support property definition from the drop-down list.
User Definition option. When this option is chosen, SAP2000 will define the column support using the entries in the User Column Support spreadsheet area of the form:

User Column Support spreadsheet area. Use the cells in this area of the form to specify translational and rotational releases as free, fixed, or with partial fixity. Click in a cell in the Release Type column and select the appropriate type from the drop-down list. If partial fixity is selected, also specify a stiffness value in the cells in the Stiffness column.
