Form: Assign Merge Numbers
Use the Assign menu > Joints > Merge Numbers command to access the Assign Merge Numbers form and assign merge numbers to selected points. When the analysis model is created, points that occur in the same location and have the same merge number will be merged into a single point. Assigning different merge numbers to points in the same location that have been disconnected in the object based model assures that those points will remain disconnected in the analysis model.
Select the joint(s) to be assigned a merge number.
Click the Assign menu > Joints > Merge Numbers command to access the Assign Merge Numbers form.
Enter a number in the Merge Number edit box. This number will be assigned to the selected joints.
