Form: Frame Hinge Assignments Overwrites

Select a line object that has been assigned a hinge(s) and that is to be assigned hinge overwrites.
Click the Assign menu > Frame > Hinge Overwrites command to display the Frame Hinge Assignments Overwrites form.
Auto Subdivide Line Objects At Hinges check box and Relative Length of Line Element at Hinge edit box. When this check box is checked, the program divides the selected line object so that each hinge is assigned to an individual line object. This option is intended to be used when multiple hinges have been assigned to the same line object. The value specified in the Relative Length of Line Element at Hinge edit box specifies a percentage of the full length of the line object. The line object is then subdivided such that the hinge is placed at the mid point of the subdivided length. The default value is 2 percent (0.02).
Do Not Allow Hinges To Drop Loads check box. When this check box is checked, the program does not allow the load carrying capacity of the hinge to drop as the deformation increases.
