Cable Loads - Vehicle Response Components

Form:  Assign Vehicle Response Component Overwrites to Lines, Vehicle Response Component Overwrites for Lines

Click the Assign menu >Cable Loads > Vehicle Response Components command to display the Assign Vehicle Response Component Overwrites to Lines  form. Use that form to overwrite the program assumed components and their values that contribute to the reaction or moment of a cable as a result of vehicle loading.

1. Select the object(s) to be assigned the vehicle response overwrite(s).

2. Click the Assign menu > Cable Loads > Vehicle Response Components command to display the Assign Vehicle Response Component Overwrites to Lines  form.

3. Select the vehicle and response type to be overwritten (e.g., AASHTO H, HS and HL Superstructure Negative Moment Over Structure, AASHTO-HL Reaction of Interior Supports or AASHTO H & HS Lane Loads - Superstructure Moment)

4. Click the Assign Selected Overwrite Type button to display the Vehicle Response Component Overwrites for Lines form. Use that form to specify which component is to be overwritten and the values to be used.

1. Click the cell in the Status column associated with the component.

2. Select the appropriate options from the drop-down list:  Do Not Use, Use Positive Values, Use Negative Values, or Use All Values.

As necessary, use the Set All to Do Not Use button to quickly reset all components to the program assumed values.
