Create Analysis Model

In addition to the object model that shows objects that comprise the model (i.e., the geometry of the model), an analysis model that shows the model at the element level may be displayed.  The analysis model shows how the program has automatically meshed the structure.

Click the Analyze menu > Create Analysis Model command to create the analysis model at any time, even if an analysis has not been run.

Results are always shown on the analysis model, rather than on the object model.

After an analysis model has been created, use the View menu > Set Display Options command or the Set Display Options button  to access the Display Options for Active Window form. Check the Show Analysis Model (If it is Available) check box to display the Analysis Model in the specified window(s).
