Access the Point Information form by moving the cursor onto the object as if to select it, and then clicking the right mouse button rather than the left mouse button.
Note: When displaying an object-based model, double left clicking on the specified coordinate system (not the item name) or the coordinate values (not the item name) will access the Joint Coordinates form. This form can be used to modify the positioning of the point by revising the values in the X Coordinate, Y Coordinate or Z Coordinate edit boxes. The Units drop-down list can be used to change the units on the Joint Coordinates form.
Label Displays the label of the point object.
Joint Coordinates:
Coordinate System Identifies the coordinate system for the point object.
X Identifies the location of the point in the x coordinate system. See Set Reshape Element Mode for information about using this edit box to change the coordinates of the point to reshape the object to which it may be attached.
Y Identifies the location of the point in the y coordinate system. See Set Reshape Element Mode for information about using this edit box to change the coordinates of the point to reshape the object to which it may be attached.
Z Identifies the location of the point in the z coordinate system. See Set Reshape Element Mode for information about using this edit box to change the coordinates of the point to reshape the object to which it may be attached.
Connectivity Identifies the line objects and area objects connected to the point object.
Special Jt (User Def) Identifies if the joint is a Special Joint. Double left clicking in the white cell associated with the Special Joint item accesses a message form that can be used to specify that the joint be flagged as a Special Joint (selected the Yes button), or not (select the No button). See Draw Special Joint for more information.
Update Display button. Use this button to update the active window with the most recent change made to the selected object.
Modify Display button. Use this button to access the Show Joint Assignments form, which lists the various specifications or assignments made to the selected object. Use the form to select which specification or assignment is to be displayed in the active window, regardless of the sequence of the changes.
