Access the Link Information form by moving the cursor onto the object as if to select it, and then clicking the right mouse button rather than the left mouse button.
Label - Identifies the name of the selected object. See the Change Labels topic for more information about labelling within SAP2000.
Length Identifies the length of the selected link object.
Link Connected To - Identifies the number of joints to which the link is connected. See the Draw 1 Joint Link or Draw 2 Joint Link Element for more information.
Start Joint (I) Identifies the starting point of the link object.
Coordinate System. Identifies the coordinate system for locating the link object.
X Identifies the X coordinate of the starting point of the selected link object.
Y Identifies the Y coordinate of the starting point of the selected link object.
Z Identifies the Z coordinate of the link object.
End Joint (J) Identifies the ending point of the link object.
Coordinate System. Identifies the coordinate system for locating the link object.
X Identifies the X coordinate of the ending point of the selected link object.
Y Identifies the Y coordinate of the ending point of the selected link object.
Z Identifies the Z coordinate of the link object.
Update Display button. Use this button to update the active window with the most recent change made to the selected object.
Modify Display button. Use this button to access the Show Link Assignments form, which lists the various specifications or assignments made to the selected object. Use the form to select which specification or assignment is to be displayed in the active window, regardless of the sequence of the changes.
