The Options area provides three options for how the interaction surface is created. Those options are:
Phi: The code specified strength reduction factors are considered when creating the interaction surface.
No phi: The code specified strength reduction factors are not considered (i.e., set to 1.0) when creating the interaction surface.
No phi with fy increase: The code specified strength reduction factors are not considered (i.e., set to 1.0) and the reinforcing steel yield stress is increased by a code-specified amount (1.25 for ACI and UBC) to estimate probable strength when creating the interaction surface.
