Add Guides
You can use this tool to add guides if you are not satisfied with the automatic distribution of guides, or if you just want more guides.
If the (polygon) object is still bare (without hair), simply select it and paint over it using this tool. A Hair object will be created automatically. Otherwise, simply select an existing Hair object and start painting.
You can also paint hair directly onto an object if Guides is selected in the Root menu of the Hair object’s Hairs tab.
