This shows all the cutters listed in the Group Management dialog. The required cutters are optimized and listed here.
Interaction
The Optimized Cutters dialog is displayed.

For a Tap cutter, the Pitch can be changed by adjusting the Spin and Feed.
Define the parameters to be used to create the holes.
Press OK
.
The entire Drill process is automatically loaded into a new NC
document in suppress
mode and the NC
Process Manager is displayed.

An example of the information being automatically loaded into the NC document is the contents of the Optimized Cutters dialog.
Although the main Cutter parameters can only be changed in the Process Plan, for each row in this list the following can be defined:

Spin |
Number of revolutions per minute of the machine spindle. |
|
Feed |
The speed at which the cutter moves, measured in mm/min. or inch/min. according to the file units. |

Coolant |
Define the coolant type or switch the coolant off. The following types
can be defined: |

Cycle |
Define the Drill Cycle from the drop-down menu.
|
|
Dwell |
If checked, the cutter will be allowed to stop moving temporarily. If Dwell is on, the cutter still spins. The Time parameter is displayed.
Time: The dwelling time - the length of time that the cutter is allowed to, temporarily, stop moving. |
|
Peck |
If checked, the drilling will be performed in steps. The Step and Decrease parameters are displayed.
Step: The length of each Peck step. The default is the Decrease value. Decrease: The down step of the cutter. This value must be equal to or less than the Step value. |

Shift |
If checked, the drill cutter will shift laterally while at the bottom of the hole. The Shift I and Shift J parameters are displayed.
Shift I: The I distance for the lateral shift. Shift J: The J distance for the lateral shift. |
