Importing a Cutter

Import a new cutter via the Cutter Table dialog.

To import a new cutter:

Converting Cutter Table libraries created prior to Cimatron E 6.0 SP1.

1. Click the Import Cutter button.

2. An additional list of cutters is displayed on the right side of the Cutters Table dialog:

This shows an external list of cutters. If necessary, browse to the appropriate directory (using the browse button on the bottom right corner of the Cutter Table dialog) to display the cutters within the directory.

3. Select the required cutter and use the Import Cutter button to import it. The cutter now appears on the left side of the dialog which indicates that the cutter has been imported.

Note: Cutters names that already exist in your local list, cannot be imported.

4. Select the cutter to use it in a procedure.
