These functions are divided into two categories:
Basic Functions (Extrude, Revolve, and Drive) - used to create, add or remove solid material.
Detail Functions (includes Chamfer, Round, Shell etc) - used to add details to existing solid objects that were created using the Basic Functions.
Create a new solid or add to an existing solid by extruding (pulling) a 2D sketch in a given direction.
Remove material from an existing solid by extruding a 2D sketch in a given direction.
Create a new solid or add to an existing solid by revolving a 2D sketch about an axis.
Remove material from an existing solid by revolving a 2D sketch in a given direction.
Create a new solid or add to an existing solid by driving a 2D sketch along a spine.
Remove material from an existing solid by driving a 2D sketch along a spine.
Notes for basic solid functions:
Create round edges from sharp corners. The rounding radius can be constant or variable.
Create round faces or surfaces between two groups of faces.
Remove faces by extending adjacent faces to fill the gap.
Create a chamfer (a 90 degree bevel) along a solid edge or edges.
Rotate faces about existing curves or edges.
Apply mold sto one or more open or closed objects.
Create holes in solid objects.
Hollow out a solid or open object.
Divide one or more open or closed objects (also faces) by using face(s), a plane, or object(s) as a dividing tool.
Divide one or more open or closed solid objects (also faces) by using a contour as a dividing tool.
Merge separate objects into one object.
Cut (trim) one or more open or closed objects (also faces) by using face(s), a plane, or object(s) as a cutting tool.
