Features Tree Operations

You can use the Features Tree to:

Note: Multiple features can be selected from the Feature Tree.

• Activate Object - select an object from the Objects branch, right-click and select Activate Object from the popup menu.

• Edit Features - right click on an item and select Edit Feature from the popup menu. You will return to the Feature Guide for that item.

• Edit Sketches / Composite Curves - for features like Extrude that are based on sketches or composite curves, right-click and select Edit Sketch / Composite from the popup menu.

• Edit numerical parameters - double-click on a feature name to display all numerical values associated with that feature. You can display parameters for several features at one time. Click on any value to open the Dimension Dialog and enter your changes. Press exit to leave edit mode. If you leave edit mode without updating, the feature will have a symbol in the tree.

• Delete Features - right-click and select Delete Feature from the popup menu.
  Multiple entities can be selected for deletion, from the Feature Tree.

• Rename Features - click again on a feature after highlighting it to rename it.

• Suppress - Suppress a feature so that it is not displayed or regenerated during the update process.
  Multiple entities can be selected for suppression, from the Feature Tree.

• Relations Analyzer - View the relationships between parts and/or features.

• Clear Selection - Clear the entities you have selected.

• Visually replay the creation process, step by step.
