Cimatron E provides you with a complete set of logical steps for the parting process.
The Parting Application includes the creation of a new working model, an option to automatically create a new folder and the display of the Parting Guide to guide you through the logical steps of the parting process, from start to finish.
The Parting project includes two files:
Master document: The original document received from the product designer, used as a reference for the working document .
Working document: All necessary operations for the mold part creation are performed in this document . Operations include fixing the model, splitting the model, creating parting lines and parting surfaces, creating the mold UCS and the mold part objects and exporting them. The working document is associative to the master document.
Once the updated model is received from the product designer, the toolmaker compares it with the Master document . The compare operation detects the changes made in the new document and updates the master document . The working document, which is associative to the master document, can then be updated automatically or semi-automatically.
