Create Active Parts: Deleting

Create assembly parts holding the active parts created in the previous step and place them into the appropriate assembly.

This specific operation involves deleting an Active Part from the Assembly.

To delete an Active Part from the Assembly:

 

  1. From the Assembly Tree, select an assigned Active Part

  2. Press the Delete button .

 

Note that for each operation only the relevant buttons are displayed, in this case - Delete.

 

 

The Part is deleted and the Active Part is now unassigned.

  1. Press the appropriate approval option.

Note:

  • Unassigned Active Parts are denoted by color icons .

In this example:

The Part Core left was deleted. The Active Part Core left is now unassigned .
Note that its icon is no longer gray. Core right has a gray icon -meaning that it is assigned.
