Required Step 1 ![]()
Select entities that you want to copy. All types of entities can be selected (curves, faces, open / closed objects, sketches). The cursor will tell you what you are selecting, and you can use the Selection Filter to enable you to select the entities you want. Press exit when all entities are selected.
If you select a face and use Include entire feature, all faces belonging to the same feature (created by the same function) will be automatically selected. Toggle Include entire feature to Only selected faces if you want to select individual faces. This field will not appear if you select objects, curves, sketches, or faces of different features.
Required Step 2 ![]()
Select the mirror surface. This can be a planar face or datum plane. The Merge On field means that all copied items will be part of the same object as the original. Toggle to Merge Off if you want each copied item to be an individual object.
When you are finished, press OK
or Apply
in the Feature Guide
to complete the function. The selected entities are now copied to the
other side of the mirror.
