This function is executed by selecting two groups: the first containing one or more faces, and the second group containing one or more faces and / or planes. The results consists of all curves along all intersections of the two groups.

Note: Each curve created in this function is considered a separate entity, even if two or more curves are continuous.

The two examples below demonstrate how to use this function.

Example 1

Required Step 1

For the first group, pick the two faces shown below. Press exit to proceed to the next step.

Required Step 2

For the second group, pick the vertical faces. Press exit when finished.

Press OK or Apply in the Feature Guide to complete the function. In this example, 9 separate curves were created along the edges of both horizontal faces - 18 curves in all.

Example 2

Required Step 1

For the first group, pick the 4 faces shown below. Press exit to proceed to the next step.

Required Step 2

For the second group, pick the vertical datum plane. Toggle Create Composite to Don't Create Composite to make the resulting curves, along the intersection of the plane of the 4 selected faces, a composite curve or separate lines Press exit when finished.

Press OK or Apply in the Feature Guide to complete the function:

When completed, the Intersection Curve feature(s) will appear in the Feature Tree as follows:
