Extract the contents of a packed Cimatron Transfer File (CTF) file.
This may be performed in the following different ways:
Copy & Paste the CTF file(s) from the Windows Explorer to the Cimatron E Explorer
OR
Double-click the CTF file in Windows Explorer (instead of Steps a and b below)
OR
Select File / Unpack.
In the Open dialog, select the required CTF file.
Double-click the file, or click Open; the CimZip dialog displays the packed files.

Drag or Copy & Paste any of the selected documents directly into the Cimatron E Explorer, or transfer them to the required location using the Unpack operation as follows:
Select the document(s) for transferring and click Unpack in the CimZip toolbar; the Destination Path and Options dialog is displayed:

Set the required Unpack path and options:
Documents: Define the Destination path and whether dependent documents will be included.
Catalogs: Mark the Extract catalogs check box to extract catalogs. Define whether to place the catalogs with the documents and if so in which folder.
Overwrite Mode: Define if or how existing files will be overwritten.
Use folder path:
With relative folder path: From the current selected folder and below.
With full folder path: From the Location name and below.
Without folder history: Without the path history.
Click OK.
Notes:
The check box status of the last un-pack operation is kept.
If the last time the dialog was accessed, the Destination Path check box status was "unselected", the last destination path of the catalogs is kept
If the document(s) already exist the following message is displayed:
Click each button for an explanation.

Note: Selecting Yes or Yes to All also replaces Read-only documents.
The selected documents are extracted accordingly.
In addition, the following operations can be performed within the CimZip dialog:
New: Create a new CTF file
Open: Open an existing CTF file
Delete: Delete a document(s) from a CTF file.
Notes:
The old Data Transfer Format (DTF) cannot be converted to the new Cimatron Transfer File (CTF) using Cimatron E 5.0.
A CTF file created in Cimatron E 5.0 cannot be opened in Cimatron E 4.2 or earlier.
