The Display Curves function allows you to display section and cross-section curves for one more faces. Displays curves are shown according to the U / V directions of a face and its boundaries.
When you access the function, the Display Curves dialog appears, in which you can specify the number of sections and cross-sections.
Select the first face you want to section. A set of S and C arrows appears, S representing the direction of the section curves, and C representing cross-section curves.
Continue to select faces to be sectioned. The S and C arrows will be displayed for each face.
When you are finished selecting, press Apply in the Display Curves dialog.
The display curves will be shown when the face is selected or highlighted with the cursor.
Display curves are used only for display purposes. You can create actual curves from display curves by using the function Curves / From Face.
