The contents of Control Panel buttons can easily be edited.
Blank buttons can be edited to create shortcuts to the following:
a customized Cimatron E session
Existing shortcut buttons can be edited or deleted.
Create shortcuts either to a customized Cimatron E session or to another application.
Shortcut to a Cimatron E Session
Right click on a blank button. The following popup is displayed:

Select New Cimatron. The Arguments Utility dialog is displayed. This utility interactively defines any specific Cimatron arguments into the command line.
Set the argument that you require; enter the text to be displayed in the Tooltip, add a Long Description and define the Icon file (browse to the appropriate location) and Icon Text.
For example:

Shortcut to Another Application
Right-click on a blank button. The following popup is displayed:

Select New Exe. The following dialog is displayed:

Enter the name of the application to be executed (browse to the appropriate location), Tooltip, Long Description, Icon file (browse to the appropriate location) and Icon Text.
For example:

Press OK.
Edit existing Control Panel shortcuts.
Right-click on the button to be edited. The following popup is displayed:

Select:
Open: to run the application.
Edit: to edit the Create/Edit dialog.

If you are editing the Cimatron E button, the Arguments Utility dialog is displayed. This utility interactively defines any specific Cimatron arguments into the command line.
Clear: to remove the shortcut from the Control Panel.
