Guide from the main menu. The
Procedure Guide is displayed when you are editing
a procedure.
Once you have selected the Create Procedure
icon 
from the NC Guide,
the Procedure Guide will appear,
showing you all the necessary steps to complete the procedure. The Procedure
Guide also appears when you are Editing
a Procedure.
The procedure steps are as follows:

Milling Technology: Choose from Volume Milling, Contour Milling, etc. See the Milling Strategy Table for a list of options and sub-options. |

|
Cutters: Open the Cutters & Holders Dialog, from which you can select the cutter for the procedure. You can also define a new cutter in this dialog. |

|
Geometry: Choose contours and surfaces that will define the limits of milling. |
|
|
Motion Parameters: Define parameters for Approach / Retract, Clearance, Entry and End Points, Offset and Tolerance, Tool Trajectory, and Optimization. |
|
|
Machine Parameters: Define parameters of the machine, such as Feed and Spin. |
|
|
Save & Close: Suspend the procedure. |
|
|
Save & Calculate: Execute the procedure. |
Note: The options Save & Close and Save & Calculate, as well as Cancel, and Save As are also available as Procedure Options.
