Once you have selected the motion blocks you want to edit, click the
Cut
icon. The
Motions Editor dialog will have
the following options:

Because motions are to be deleted, you must specify how the motions adjacent to the deleted blocks will be connected to each other:
Use the Connect field to choose between the following options:
Connect through Clear: Connect the deleted motions by jumping to the Clearance Plane level.
Connect through Incremental Clear: Connect the deleted motions through the Incremental Clear level.
Connect Directly: Connect the deleted motions directly, at the Feed rate.
Connect along Contour: Connect the deleted motions along the contour.
Edit the Procedure Defaults as needed for the motion connections.
Select the type of Surface Approach & Retract.
Note: If you attempt to edit motions within a procedure that has a G status flag, a warning message is displayed and only the Z UP approach/retract option will be available.
Once the connection has been specified, you have the following options to proceed:

Cancel (close without saving) |

|
Reset (cancel all selections and start over) |
|
|
Calculate (calculate the new motions while the dialog remains open) |
|
|
Calculate & Close (calculate the new motions and close the dialog) |
After the new motions are calculated, the procedure will have a
status
flag.
Important: Manual editing changes will be lost if you edit or re-execute the procedure!
