Note: This section deals with procedure editing - changing milling strategy, parameters, or geometry of an existing procedure in order to calculate new cutter motions. For information on manually editing cutter motions produced by an executed procedure, see Motions Editor.
To edit a procedure, double-click the procedure in the Process Manager. Other ways to edit a procedure:
Now you are in edit mode, and the Procedure Guide appears in place of the NC Guide. Use the Procedure Guide icons for editing the desired aspects of the procedure.

Milling Technology: Change the milling strategy. See the Milling Strategy Table for a list of options and sub-options. |

Cutters: Open the Cutters & Holders Dialog, from which you can select a new cutter for the procedure. You can also define a new cutter in this dialog. |

Geometry: Modify or re-define the contours and surfaces that will define the limits of milling. |
|
|
Motion Parameters: Modify parameters for Approach / Retract, Clearance, Entry and End Points, Offset and Tolerance, Tool Trajectory, and Optimization. |

|
Machine Parameters: Modify parameters of the machine, such as Feed and Spin. |
When you are finished editing, you can choose from the following Procedure Options:
