Slope Limit Angle |
The maximum angle between the machined surface and the reference (horizontal or vertical) plane. The limit angle is between the local normal of the surface and the Z axis. For instance, in a Cleanup -> Split Horizontal/Vertical procedure, or in Finish Layer machining, areas that are steeper than the defined limit angle, will be machined with a vertical strategy, while those areas that are shallower than the defined limit angle, will be milled with a horizontal strategy.
