Clearance Type

Used in Connection procedures, this is a 3D surface upon which the toolpath connecting two procedures will lie.
The tool orientation may be normal to the Clearance, but can also be controlled otherwise.

Plane

The clearance surface is a plane above the stock, upon which the connection path will lie.
A Clearance Distance defines the Clear level of the plane.

Cylinder

The clearance surface is a cylinder around the stock, upon which the connection path will lie.
A Clearance Distance defines the Clear level of the cylinder.
A Pivot Axis defines the axis around which the cylinder is created.

Sphere

The clearance surface is a sphere around the stock, centered at the active UCS, upon which the connection path will lie.
A Clearance Distance defines the Clear level of the sphere.
