Internal Clearance

Absolute

When the cutter moves to a clear level, it will always move to the level of the clearance plane. The parameter Absolute Z is displayed when the Absolute option is selected for Internal Clearance.

Optimized

To move to a clear level, the cutter will move to either the entry or exit point for the current region, whichever is higher. The cutter does not necessarily move to the clearance plane.

In the Rough, ReRough, Finish, Pencil and Cleanup procedures, the procedure always knows the amount of the remaining stock and takes this into account, together with a safety distance, to move over the stock. (See the Notes below.)

Incremental

To move to a clear level, the cutter will move to either the entry or exit point for the current region, whichever is higher. The cutter does not necessarily move to the clearance plane. The parameter Incremental is displayed when the Incremental option is selected for Internal Clearance.
