Internal Clearance
|
Absolute |
When the cutter moves to a clear level, it
will always move to the level of the clearance plane. The
parameter Absolute
Z is displayed when the
Absolute
option is selected for
Internal
Clearance.

|
Optimized |
To move to a clear level, the cutter will move to either the entry or exit point for the current region, whichever is higher. The cutter does not necessarily move to the clearance plane. In the Rough,
ReRough, Finish,
Pencil and Cleanup
procedures, the procedure always knows the amount of the remaining stock
and takes this into account, together with a safety distance, to move
over the stock. (See the Notes below.) | ||
|
Incremental |
To move to a clear level, the cutter will
move to either the entry or exit point for the current region, whichever
is higher. The cutter does not necessarily move to the clearance plane.
The parameter Incremental is displayed when the Incremental option is selected for Internal Clearance.
|
The Internal Clearance options that are displayed, depend on the procedure you are running.
In the Rough, ReRough, Finish, Pencil and Cleanup procedures:
if the Internal Clearance = Absolute Z then the High Speed Machining Round Rapid parameter is not displayed.
if the Internal Clearance = Optimized then the High Speed Machining Round Rapid parameter is displayed.
