Cimatron E provides you with a complete set of logical steps for the MoldDesign process.
The MoldDesign Guide, located on the right side of the MoldDesign Display, enables you to follow the logical steps of the MoldDesign creation process, from start to finish.
How to show or hide this dialog
The MoldDesign Guide steps are organized as follows:

Layout UCS: Edit a previously created Layout part. The Layout options are displayed. |

|
Add Active: Add predefined Active Parts to MoldDesign sub-assemblies. |
|
|
Active Tools: The Active tools options are displayed. |
|
|
Pocket: Use the Pocket function to create room in selected plates for an insert. |
|
|
Add Mold Components: Add mold components options are displayed. |
|
|
Cooling Design: The cooling system options are displayed. |
|
|
Runner Design: The runner system options are displayed. |
|
|
Ejection Design: The ejection design options are displayed. |
|
|
|
|
|
BOM: Output to a Bill of Materials. |
|
|
Switch to the Parting environment from the MoldDesign environment. This enables a smooth transition between the environments, which is essential when creating a Mold Project. |
Note: All operations are also accessible either through the main menu and / or toolbar icons.
Showing or Hiding the MoldDesign Guide
To show the MoldDesign Guide, check the MoldDesign Guide option, under View / Panes / Guides. The MoldDesign option is only available if an MoldDesign document is open.
To hide the MoldDesign Guide,
uncheck the MoldDesign Guide
option, under View / Panes
/ Guides or press the
button on the upper right
corner of the Guide.
To scroll the MoldDesign Guide
up, press the
button at the top of the Guide. To scroll
down, press the
button at the top of the Guide.
