Automatic Coordinate Label

This tool enables you to automatically display coordinate labels. These labels must first be created in the Part environment.

In the example below we have applied automatic coordinate labels to the four holes in a moldbase plate.

To automatically display the coordinate labels:

1. Click the Automatic Coordinate Label icon on the Automation toolbar or choose Automation / Automatic Coordinate Label from the main menu. The Automatic Coordinate Label dialog is displayed:

2. Pick the part view and exit. The part is highlighted and the predefined Coordinate Label points are displayed:

3. Pick the points.

4. Set the Parameters. (Click the Automatic Id Number dialog above for explanations).

5. Click OK or Apply to display the Coordinate Labels:

Note:

• The automatic coordinate label parameters constitute unique symbolic text. They can be edited in the Text Editor but their source data cannot be changed.
