Import Operations

Import operations include:

• Importing Cimatron E documents.

• Importing specific geometric entities from within other Cimatron E documents.

• Importing documents from other file formats using the Data Interface Import mechanism. In this case, the following methods can be used:

• Importing from other file formats

• Batch file importing

• The import dialog

• Advanced import parameters

The Import options available depend upon the type of document currently open and the method you use to access the import function. The following table summaries the options:

* In an Assembly, if a part component is activated, the import options are the same as those of Part.
