Pro/E Import

Convert (import) Pro/E files into the Cimatron E format.

Translation data can either be displayed on the screen or saved to a log file. The log file contains information such as:

User parameter values.

A list of each entity translated and any errors or problems encountered during translation.

To import a Pro/E file, follow the general import interaction. The parameters specific to this operation are shown below (these are displayed when the Expand button is pressed in the Import dialog).

Note:

• To define default settings for the Advanced parameters, use the Data Interface Preferences. Press the button (on the top right corner of the Import dialog) as a short cut to the Preferences Editor and navigate to General / Data Interface.

General Tab

This tab displays general file conversion parameters.
