Display and set other catalog parameters.

To display other parameters, press the Advanced button .

Additional parameters are displayed, both in the Primary and Secondary sections. These parameters are Type, Format and Input Type.

 

Type

Define whether the dimension is a Regular, (a normal Catalog dimension), a Cutting Object dimension or a Free dimension.

Set the parameter by selecting the option from the drop-down menu.

 

Format

Define the format of the dimension. This parameter can be set for new dimensions.

Set the parameter by selecting the option from the drop-down menu.

The available options are:

Number (Unit Dependent)

A number that is affected by a change in the file units.

Number (Unit Independent)

A number that is unaffected by a change in the file units.

String

Text.

Whole Number

Whole number.

 

Input Type

Define the Input Type of the dimension. This parameter can be set for new dimensions that have been defined as Primary dimensions.

Set the parameter by selecting the option from the drop-down list.

The available options are:

Single Value

The dimension is a single value and cannot be changed.

List Value

The dimension can be selected from a list of values. This list is defined in the next stage of saving as a catalog part, by pressing the Add List Values button.
