Access:
Click the
icon, or select Assembly
/ Add From Catalog from the main
menu. The function also appears on the Graphics
Area popup menu.Select a Mechanism Assembly from the Catalog.
To retrieve a previously created Mechanism Assembly:
Add and position the Mechanism Assembly.
If required, edit the parameters.
Press OK
to place the Mechanism Assembly into the assembly.
Notes:
If the assembly was added with the option With Cut, the system will run a cut analysis for all parts that have cutting objects and perform the cut operation.
The cut operations will be "external" only; parts that belong to the slider assembly will not be cut.
Cut operations will be performed on parts that belong to other sub-assemblies, at every level.
Only one Assembly Cut feature will be created under the main slider assembly (the assembly that was activated when the Mechanism Assembly was added).
The Add operation will appear under the Assembly Operations leaf in the lower tree, as for every other add operation.
