Before you start using the Requirements Management Interface, in the MATLAB Command Window type

rmi setup

This command runs a setup script that installs the ActiveX controls, needed for establishing two-way selection-based links. If DOORS is installed on the machine, this command also invokes the DOORS setup. For more information, see Configuring the Requirements Management Interface for DOORS.
