Defining the Listing Format for a Report Style
The information that you add in the Listing Format table for a report style ensures that the materials you want to appear on the material list report are listed in the correct order.
As explained in this chapter, the Sample - Detailed report style has been defined for you to use to learn how to set up and modify report styles.
To display the Listing Format table for the Sample - Detailed report style, select Report Styles ® Sample - Detailed ® Listing Format from the SoftList Setup screen. As shown in Illustration 1, the Listing Format table for the Sample - Detailed report style opens:

Illustration 2 shows a sample material list report. The information enclosed by the dashed box results from the information specified in the Listing Format table.
