Adding Subtotals to Sections

In the Listing Format table you may specify that cost subtotals be added for sections of materials. To add a subtotal to a section:

1. Select the down arrow from the Action field in the entry where you wish to add the subtotal (usually the last entry for a section of materials).

2. Select Subtotal from the list of actions. The action Subtotal is placed in the field. See Illustration 1. SoftList will then calculate a cost subtotal for the section and show it in the report in the position you specified.

    Note that a subtotal in the report shows the total cost for just that section of materials.
