Maintaining Material Definitions

The SoftList material definitions tell SoftList which materials are to be included in the report, the cost of these materials, and how the materials are to be counted.  SoftList provides many commands to help you maintain these valuable definitions. They include:

·   Creating new material definitions

·   Renaming material definitions

·   Deleting material definitions

·   Copying material definitions

·   Exporting materials defined for a material definition

·   Importing materials into a material definition

·   Exporting material costs defined for a material definition

·   Importing material costs into a material definition

·   Backing up material definitions

·   Restoring material definitions

·   Restoring the default material definitions

You can perform these commands by selecting File from the SoftList Setup screen.
