Copying a Material in the Material Definition Table

When adding a new material to the Material Definition table, if the definition for the new material is similar to a material already defined, it is easier to use the Copy function to create the new material. To create a new material using Copy:

1. Highlight the material you want to copy.

2. Select the Copy button on the Material Definition table. A message appears asking you to select where you want to insert the copied material.

3. Highlight where you want to insert the copied material. Note that the copied material is inserted directly below the material you highlighted.

4. Select the copied material from the Material Definition table. A copy of the Material Setup menu for the material is displayed.

5. In the Material Name field, change the name for the new material.

6. Make any necessary modifications to the information in the menu to define the new material.

7. Select the ok button when you have finished defining the material.
