View > Zoom > Area command zooms the viewing area into a selected rectangular region.

Select View > Zoom > Area in the menu or click the icon  in the toolbar.

Drag-select a rectangular region which you want to zoom into.

Note

You can keep zooming in until another command is selected or select View > Zoom > Area again. To go back to the previous viewing area, you can use View > Zoom > Previous Area.
