The Chamfer tool applies a chamfer to adjacent sketch entities in 2D and 3D sketches. This tool is available for both 2D and 3D sketches. |
How to use Chamfer
command

Click

Select the Chamfer Type. You can select either Distance-Distance or Distance-Angle.

Select the edges as shown below to apply chamfer at the intersection of edges.

· Chamfer Type– You can choose the type of chamfer as one of the following. |
|
· Distance-Distance – If this option is enabled, chamfer is applied based on the distance-distance method. |
|
· Distance-Angle - If this option is enabled, chamfer is applied based on the distance-angle method ·

· Distance1 –You can specify a value for Distance1 to apply chamfer. Make sure you enable Specify Value, in order to be able to specify the distance value.

· Distance2 –You can specify a value for Distance2 to apply chamfer. Make sure you enable Specify Value, in order to be able to specify the distance value.

|
· Angle –You can specify a value for Angle, if the chamfer type is Distance-Angle. Make sure you enable Specify Value, in order to be able to specify the angle value.
