Options in Detail

· Fit Polyline – If this option is enabled, spline is created
by fitting the selected poly line. To accept fitting, click
· No. Of Interpolation Point – You can specify the number of interpolation points that define the spline. Based on the curvature of the poly line, if the number is more you can get an accurate spline.
· Smoothness – You can specify the smoothness level for the spline. The smoothness range is between 1 and 100. Smoothness is related to the curvature of the spline. If the smoothness is more, curvature is reduced while forming the spline.
· Length Tolerance – Defines the tolerance value when a spline is formed by connecting two separate entities. If the tolerance value is with in the specified value, then only the two entities are connected to form the spline.
· Merge Tolerance – Defines the tolerance value when a spline is formed by merging two separate entities. If the tolerance value is within in the specified value, then only the two entities are merged to form the spline.
· Local smooth – Defines the smoothness level. If the smoothness is more, the curvature is reduced while forming the spline.
· For Construction – If this option is enabled, you can create a line for construction line. |
Note
When you are in Sketch mode, you will see the
following dialog tree while
creating spline.
Here you can just pick points
to create the spline.
