How to use Section
command

Click

2. |
Check N-Division Between Planes method and select middle reference plane for Base Plane.

3. |
Set Num. of Sections to 7.
|

4. |
Click OK. Hide mesh data.

Options in Detail

· Draw Line On Screen – Creates the section from line. You can draw a line on the mesh data or body to create the section as shown below.

· Select Plane – Creates the section from plane. You can set the base plane to create the section.

· N-Division Between Planes - Creates the specified number of sections with respect to the base plane. You can set number of section in the Num. of Sections box or distance between sections in the Width Between Sections box. If you check Show Section Plane, you can see each section plane.
<N-Division> <Section Splines>

· N-Division Along Curve – Creates the specified number of sections with respect to the curve. You can set number of section in the Num. of Sections box or distance between sections in the Width Between Sections box. If you check Show Section Plane, you can see each section plane.

· Radial – You need to select Aixs and Base Plane, so you can create radial section. Flip And Reset Section button enable you to reset all settings and reverse manipulator. No. Of Sections is a total number of to be created sections. Interval Angle is an angle among sections. Equal Spacing enables you to create section with specified number in the given Total Angle.
