Options in Detail

· Maximum edge length Smaller
Than – If this option is enabled, all the faces whose longest edge's length is
smaller than the specified value will be selected. |
· Maximum edge length Larger Than – If this option is enabled, all the faces whose longest edge's length is
bigger than the specified value will be selected. |
· Area Smaller Than – If this option is enabled, all the faces whose area is smaller than this
value will be selected. |
· Area Larger Than - If this option is enabled, all the faces whose area is larger than the
specified value will be selected. |
· Max/Min edge length ratio is larger than - If this option is enabled, all the faces will be selected if the ratio between their longest edges' length and shortest edges' length is larger than the specified value.
· Max edge length/Max height ratio is larger than - If this option is enabled, all the faces will be selected if the ratio between their longest edges' length and longest edges' height is larger than the specified value.
Use both of Max/Min edge length ratio is larger than and Max edge length/Max height ratio is larger than at the same time to select two kinds of spikes as shown in the following figure.
· Angle deviation from plane is larger than -
If this option is
enabled, all faces whose angle
deviation from plane is larger than the specified value will be selected.
Using this option you can detect sharp faces on the smooth
surface. <Small Angle Deviation> <Large Angle Deviation>
· Crease angle is larger than – If this option is enabled, all faces whose crease angle is larger than the specified angle will be selected.
