File > Open command opens an existing xrl file.
Note

We cannot open the higher version of the xrl file than the currently opened XOR version.

Select File > Open in the menu or click the icon  in the toolbar.

If there is an existing model that was changed, the following save confirmation dialog box appears.

But if there is only simple change such as view rotation, this dialog box won't appear.

To save the changes, click Yes. To not save the change, click No. To quit this operation, click Cancel.

The following dialog box appears:

Select the path of the to-be-opened file in Look in box. Select the file's name in the browse window.

Include Display Preferences – If this option is enabled, the display preferences (exists in Display tab of File > Preferences) that are stored with the xrl file are also included.

Show Preview & Info – If this option is enabled, preview (thumbnail) of the xrl file is displayed. It is the last saved view of the xrl file.

Summary Information – Summary information displays the information like Author, Title and also displays the all entity information of the opening model.

Note

You can set the summary information for the file like Author, Subject etc.. in File > Summary Info..

Click Open to open the selected file. Otherwise click Cancel to quit this operation.
