In this tab, you can change the settings related to viewing and displaying.

·   Current View - If Current View is checked, all the changes made to the viewing and display settings apply only to the current view.

·   All View - If All View is checked, all the changes made to the viewing and display settings apply to all the views.

·   World Axis - If World Axis is checked, a world axis will be shown in the workspace window.

·   Scene Grid - If Scene Grid is checked, a grid will be shown in the workspace window. It is located at the bottom of a model in the X-Y plane of a global coordinate. When you are in sketch mode or mesh sketch mode, if this option is enabled you can view the size of the grid as shown below. This is useful to estimate the measurements of entities while sketching.

       <Scene Grid option enabled>           <Scene Grid option Disabled>

·   Gradient Background - If Gradient Background is checked, the background color of the workspace window is set to gradient.

·   Label – If this option is enabled, label (name) of the ref. geometries like plane, vector or shown.

·   Dynamic Draw - To simplify the model when it is in motion, check Dynamic Draw.

  <Dynamic Draw option enabled>                <Dynamic Draw option disabled>

·   Back Face - If Back Face is checked, Back Face Color box will be activated. Within it, there are 3 options. If Complement is selected, a complementary color of the front face color will be used for the back faces. If As is is selected, the color of the front faces is used for the back faces. If User Defined is selected, a user defined color will be used for the back faces.

       <Complement>                <As is>              <User Defined>

·   Transparency - If Transparency is checked, you can select a entity type. Selected type will be transparently shown in the Model View.

       <Transparency enabled>             <Transparency disabled>

·   Projection Method - if Perspective is selected, the model is projected with perspective. In this case, the part at foreground appears bigger, while the part at background appears smaller. If Parallel is selected, the model is projected parallel to the viewing plane.

·   View Point – You can select the direction of viewing. You can set the view Point mode as Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom and Isometric. You can use the short cut keys Alt + 1, Alt + 2, Alt + 3, Alt + 4, Alt + 5, Alt + 6, Alt + 7 to view the model in Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom and Isometric views respectively.

·   Lock - To view the model only from one viewpoint, you may check Lock.

·   Synchronize All View - If Synchronize All View is checked, the viewpoints in all the views will be synchronized to that in the current view.

·   Light - To turn on Light 1, 2, 3 or 4, check each corresponding box.

Shading Method – Shading method of the model. If Smooth Face is selected, the faces are shaded and the connected faces are blended smoothly. If Flat Face is selected, each triangular face is shaded using one color and the connected faces are not blended.

     <Smooth Face>             <Flat Face>                <Vertex>

·   Vertex - If Vertex is checked, each poly-vertex is drawn.

·   Edge - If Edge is checked, the edges of triangular poly-faces are drawn.

·   Face - If Face is checked, the triangular faces are drawn.

·   Boundary - If Boundary is checked, all boundary vertices are shown in red color.

    <Boundary Enabled>                  <Boundary Disabled>

·   Color Info - If Color Info. is checked, the color of each mesh is shown, if any. To change the size of each poly-vertex, select a value in the Vertex Size box.

·   Vertex size – Poly-vertex size.

·   Dynamic Display Ratio - To change the amount of the data displayed when model is in motion, select a value in the Dynamic Display Ratio box. This option is enabled only when Dynamic Draw is checked.

  <Dynamic Display Ratio 5%>               <Dynamic Display Ratio 50%>

·   Static Display Ratio - To change the amount of the data displayed when model is static, select a value in the Static Display Ratio box.

·   Geometry Type – If selected all, all geometry types are displayed. If selected only is selected only selected geometry types are displayed.

              <All>                                <Selected Only>

·   Display Mode – Display mode of the body. Hidden line draws all hidden lines. Wireframe draws only edges of faces. Shaded draws shaded faces. Shaded With Edge draws shaded faces with edges.

<Hidden Line>

<Wireframe>

<Shaded>

<Shaded With Edge>

·   Constraint – If this option is checked, sketch constraints are displayed while drawing.

             <Enable Constraint>        <Disable Constraint>

·   Applied Tangent – If this option is checked, tangent constraint is shown.

          <Enable Applied Tangent>     <Disable Applied Tangent>
