Accuracy Analyzer

Previous   Next

Accuracy Analyzer is useful to identify the accuracy of the created entities in the view. You can check the curvature, deviation, environment mapping using the accuracy analyzer.

Options in Detail

l None - If None is selected, nothing is analyzed. If you want to analyze something select the corresponding option below.

l Deviation - This is useful to calculate the deviation between the scan data and created entity. For example if you create a surface using mesh fit as shown below.

Now select the deviation option to see the deviation between the created surface and actual scanning data. If the Deviation Type is Color Map, result is displayed in color map. If the deviation type is Vector, the result is displayed in vectors.

      <Deviation result in color map>       <Deviation result in vector>

l Curvature - Displays the accuracy of the curvature of the created curve.

l Continuity - Display the continuity of the curve. If Position is selected, positional continuity of the curve is displayed. If Tangency is selected, tangential continuity of the curve is displayed.

l Iso Line - If this option is enabled, lines are displayed. You can see the Iso lines for surfaces and solids.

         <Disable Iso Line>                     <Enable Iso Line>

l Environment Mapping - Environment mapping is used to examine the quality of the surface. You can use different textures to examine the quality of the surface.

l Allowable Range - You can specify Low, High and Color values for tolerance when measuring deviation and curvature.

l Deviation Option - Options to measure deviation. Deviation is calculated in the specified Max. Distance and Max. Angle values.

l Color Map Resolution - You can adjust the color map resolution to display colors.

l Vector Multiplier - Vector multiplier is used to multiple the deviation vectors in order to change their length.

l Auto Adjust ColorBar Range - If you click this button, colorbar range will be adjusted automatically.

Note

To check each body’s accuracy, select a body in the Model Tree and perform Accuracy Analyzer.

The appearance and options of the accuracy analyzer changes depending on the mode. If you are in Sketch or Mesh Sketch mode, the accuracy analyzer appears as shown below.

You can check for the accuracy of curvature in this mode. Deviation option is enabled when you are in Mesh Sketch Mode. By checking this option, you can compare the deviation with the original data.

If you are in 3D Sketch or 3D Mesh Sketch mode, the appearance of the accuracy analyzer is as shown below.

You can check for the curvature and Torsion.

Torsion - The torsion of a curve measures how sharply it is twisting.

Deviation option is enabled when you are in 3D Mesh sketch mode. This option can be useful to compare the deviation with the original data.

If you are in Mesh mode, you can see the following option in addition to the above options.

You can compare the mesh data with the specified data in combo box.
