floor contact

In FBIK (full-body IK), a type of constraint that prevents a character's hands or feet from going through the floor. Hands react to the floor by bending fingers and wrists; feet, by bending toes and ankles.

By default, the scene grid is the floor contact surface, but you can also use floor contact planes to define other floor heights.
