Live

Load Live

Although Live is installed with Maya Unlimited, you’ll need to load it in order to see the Live menu set.

  1. Select Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager.
  2. In the Plug-in Manager, click the loaded checkbox next to mayalive.

If you want Live to load automatically each time you launch Maya, click the auto load checkbox.

  1. Close the Plug-in Manager window.
  2. Select the Live menu set.
  3. Select Scene > New MatchMove.

Note
You can use other parts of Maya while Live is still loaded. Select Scene > Live Controls to turn off the control panel, then switch to another menu set, such as Animation.
