Create external forces for nCloth
To use external forces with nCloth
nCloth reacts to Maya dynamic forces. You can add these external forces to your scene to influence the behavior of your nCloth objects.
For example, if you make one mesh a dynamic Rigid Body and a passive nCloth object, and then make another mesh nCloth and a Drag force emitter, the objects will affect each other in multiple ways. When the first object moves into the second object and makes contact with it, the first object will collide with the second object and the Drag force on the second object will slow the progression of the first object.
For more information, see nCloth and external dynamic forces.
To use a 2D or 3D fluid as an external force with nCloth

- In the Gravity and Wind section, turn off the selected nCloth’s Gravity by setting its value to 0.0.

-select the 2D or 3D fluid.

The 2D or 3D fluid will now affect your nCloth.
