When you create an annotative object in your drawing, it supports one annotation scale: the annotation scale that is current when you create the object.
The object can be updated to support additional annotation scales.
If you’ve changed the annotation scale on the application or drawing status bar, you can select the object in the drawing and update it to support the current scale, by clicking Modify > Annotative Object Scale > Add Current Scale.
Notice how the object now displays at the current scale. This object now supports two scales.Annotative objects display different scale representations based on the annotation scales that the object supports. For example, if an annotative dimension supports two annotations scales, it has two scale representations.
When you select an object that supports more than one scale, the scale representation that supports the current scale is highlighted. The other scale representations of the object display in a dimmed state. You can use grips to modify individual scale representations of annotative objects.
This allows you to modify the placement of individual scale representations of the same object.
For example, you may want the same text to display in two different places in two different viewports.
Set the annotation scale for the scale representation you want to modify. Then use the grips to modify the scale representation.
